Abstract: The essay analyses the most important themes in the poetry of Umberto Bellintani, the landscape and the various figures (hu-mans, animals and plants) that characterize him. The emotions of the au-thor always emerge in their deep humanity, in harmony with his inner world and his outlook on life and poetry. In the essay it is also considered the unique interpretation that the researcher Suzana Glavaš gave of some poems.
